GPT-6 with Intelligent UI rolls out to all ChatGPT users
ChatGPT's new default model can answer with charts, forms, buttons and mini-tools, and starts answering while it's still thinking.
OpenAI is bringing GPT-6 to everyone in ChatGPT. Its headline feature is Intelligent UI: the model decides whether to answer with plain text or mix in visuals and interactive elements such as charts, tappable buttons, forms, and small tools like calculators or bill splitters.
GPT-6 can also start answering while it continues to think or use tools, adding findings as it goes without another prompt.
Rollout: Plus, Pro, Business and Enterprise get GPT-6 Sol in the Chat tab starting Oct 7. Free and Go users get GPT-6 Luna from Oct 8. Per the release notes, Intelligent UI works from Instant through Extra High reasoning, but the Pro option (GPT-6 Astra) doesn’t support it. The models behind Work and Codex didn’t change in this release.
Why it matters
Answers stop being walls of text. Comparisons, calculators and diagrams appear inline, and you can start reading before a long reasoning run finishes. Free users get it too, on GPT-6 Luna.
