Gemini 4 Argon is now generally available, at intro pricing through Nov 30

Google's new frontier model for coding, knowledge work and cyber defense is open to API developers, enterprises, and Pro/Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app.

After a limited first rollout to cyber defenders on Sept 30, Gemini 4 Argon went broadly available on Oct 13:

  • Developers: paid tier of the Gemini API (model ID gemini-4-argon), AI Studio and Android Studio.
  • Enterprises: Gemini for business, the API, and Google Antigravity.
  • Consumers: Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers in the Gemini app and AI Mode in Search.

Pricing: $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, with cached input 95% off, through Nov 30, 2026. After that it’s $4 and $20.

Google highlights the 1M unified input+output token limit and a new “continuation protocol” for long tasks, so check the developer guide before you switch over.

Why it matters

It's a new frontier option with a 1M-token unified input+output limit at $2/$10 per million tokens until Nov 30. After that the price doubles to $4/$20, so benchmark it now if you're cost-sensitive.
